Following 45 complaints filed through the TVK constituency portal and direct representation by ward committee members, the Greater Chennai Corporation completed the long-pending road repair work in Ward 191. The 3.2-km stretch covering Gandhi Nagar Main Road, Kannan Street, and the RTO Junction has been fully resurfaced using hot-mix asphalt. Work was completed within 30 days of formal notice after TVK representatives escalated the issue to the Corporation Commissioner. Traffic flow has improved significantly and residents have appreciated the responsive governance.
