'தூய்மையான சோழிங்கநல்லூர்' — தொகுதி அளவிலான சுத்தகரிப்பு பணி

On the occasion of Earth Day (22 April 2026), TVK constituency organised a constituency-wide cleanliness and greening drive titled 'Clean Sholinganallur'. Over 800 volunteers and 400 residents across all 10 wards participated from 6 AM to 12 PM. A total of 12.4 tonnes of solid waste was collected and handed to GCC sanitation vehicles. 500 saplings including neem, peepal, and rain trees were planted along main roads. Kazhipattur and Thalambur wards cleared 4 stagnant water bodies that were breeding mosquitoes. The drive received coverage from three local news channels. TVK plans to make this a monthly event on the first Sunday of each month.
