Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, popularly known as Vijay, is the founder and leader of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Having entered public service with a vision of corruption-free governance and youth-driven development, he won the Sholinganallur constituency seat and has since focused on resolving grassroots issues through the TVK digital complaint management portal. Under his leadership, the constituency has resolved over 1,200 public complaints with an average resolution time of 4.8 days — the fastest in Tamil Nadu. His administration has inaugurated new school buildings, organised free medical camps, established women self-help groups, and launched the constituency-wide 'Clean Sholinganallur' cleanliness drives. His governance philosophy centres on three pillars: Transparency, Technology, and Trust — ensuring every resident's voice is heard and acted upon.
